We were driving from Texas to Alabama got off the interstate to stop here. Checked website said closed at 5:30 on Saturdays arrived at 4:07 pm door was locked. Woman came to the door and said they closed at 4:00. I explained we drove miles out of the way. She just tapped the door and I told her we would never return. I love stores like that but I will never know if I would love it bc I will never return. Guess they did want to make a potential sale.

Went to silver dollar to try to pawn a couple of things. The woman sitting at the desk was rude and has the worst customer service I've ever seen. Did not even thank us for stopping in. Will never go back. No wonder they cancelled their crappy reality TV show. At least Alexandria has couple more pawn shops where the employees are actually friendly and nice.
They helped me with the craziest request that anyone probably has asked them for! Thank you to the staff of Silver Dollar for my squished pennies! Esp Mandy! Thank y’all all the way from northeast Arkansas!

Recently I bought a window AC unit from them. Less than a month having it and it quit blowing cold and started turning itself on and off. They don't do returns or anything. $250 for nothing. I will never as long as I live go back to that con artist store for anything.
