Pet Boarding We were very happy with Silver Dog. Because our Vet is local, we did not have to take along proof of shots, they contacted the vet and made sure she was up to date on all needed shots. If you cannot get there to get your animal before they close for the evening, you can pick up the next morning for no extra charge. The facility was clean and well kept. The staff seemed to truly enjoy animals.

Silver Dog Bed & Biscuit ***** We have placed our dog at Silver Dog Bed & Biscuit several times for doggie day care. The staff are just wonderful with the dogs and greet our dog with enthusiasm. The dogs are monitored during play time. Our dog, Blackie, has come away from the doggie day care pooped out! We are quite pleased with the facilities and the staff.

Been bringing my dogs here for 20 years – LIterally! I had terrible experiences with kennels for my first two dogs until I found Silver Dog. After those dogs passed, I continued to use Silver Dog, even with the new puppies and they love it. They literally drag me to the door to get inside when they realize where they're going. Also, the groomers are the best ones in the Twin Cities. They keep the dogs super busy, on a regular routine, so when they come home they're exhausted and relaxed. My Dog LOVES this place... – I agree with the other reviewer that it can be expensive if you go on a longer trip...but I don't think anyplace else is all that much cheaper. I have been placing my monstorous dog here for a number of years now when I have to leave town on business, and he is always happy to go. I tried another, brand new facility closer to where I live once and only once. He came home totally hoarse as they left him by himself, sitting in the pen. Never again. Expensive – This kennel has spacious cells for the dogs (not small cages). They offer tours and have beds for each dog. They let the dogs outside to play 4 times a day in a fenced yard, and you can also pay extra for one on one playtime each day. They offer grooming as well, which I find convenient. This kennel is cost prohibitive for me for a longer vacation, but for shorter trips I feel confident my dogs are getting the exercise and attention they need.
