This is the best place to eat in all of Clarksville! We were really happy with the breakfast plates we got and the coffee!
Have been 3 times. Pastries and Deli to go are fine, but even if it's not super busy it's slow. Breads are nothing to rave about. I've gotten different ones and they are hard and dry. The food is just ok at best, nothing that special. The liverwurst is about the only I go back to get
My first visit will be my last. Apparently you can't have sauerkraut with the German sandwich when you order chips. Why was I not told this? I thought I was paying extra for my chips. Very slow service and not welcoming. Suggestion: say hello or welcome, and ask if it is the customer's first visit to your establishment.
I have to eat gluten free. I went to the deli and asked for a sample of their gluten free bread. It was dense and dry. I asked what was in the truffles, after telling her I am gluten free, she never mentioned flour as an ingredient. I got a rum ball. Took one bite and saw cake. Went back in, all I got was an apology and excuses. Now I will be throwing up. I didn't even get my money back!! If you have to be gluten free don't take a chance!!! First time here. Unassuming-looking building but I'll be back! So cute and quaint!
Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! Coffee with espresso, no sugar or creamer required! Devine! Finally found a real German Rueben and beautifully hand made breads and treats! I am in Love!!!
Awesome German food!! Love the people! Can't get enough of home from them! Makes me miss my "Vaterland".
