I visit Clarksville infrequently, but when I do, I like to visit Silke's for breakfast or lunch. The muffuletta is fantastic, with a delicious olive and carrot tapenade. Enjoyed some authentic Bienstich for dessert. Staff is friendly and food is fresh.

My husband and I love it!! We brought some friends to try it out and they fell in love with this place as well. Yes, the timing could be a bit better as it does take a bit to get your food, but it's worth the wait. We all loved our meals. I've tried different things and have always been pleased. The staff has always been pleasant and kind as well.
We found Silke's Old Word Breads one weekend while visiting Clarksville. We have a son moving to the area. If you want great quality homemade bread, this is your place! Don't expect the soft stick to the roof of your mouth - over processed, added preservatives bread you get from the store- no this bread is hand made, in house deliciousness - the way bread is meant to be! Once our son moves, Silke's Old World Breads will be a regular stop on each and every visit.
