The cheese pizza and side salad were delicious. The pizza tasted like I remember from Germany and the side salad had a wonderful assortment of fresh cut vegetables served with croutons and bread. There was More than enough food for me. Also, The gingersnap cookies are amazing! The staff is fun and friendly.

Went for lunch with my husband and other family members today. Hubby had cheeseburger and fries a couple of other family members had schnitzel sandwiches and fries and I ordered the schnitzel with creamy mushroom gravy and fries. I had a very humiliating and disappointing experience today at Silkies cafe. I came to the cafe after ordering two pizzas over the phone. There was a long line because it was lunch time hours. I approached one worker and asked how to get my pizzas that I ordered over the phone. And he answered that I had to stay in line. I knew that it was not like that before but many things are different now days. Schnitzel was awful. perfectly formed frozen fritter that tasted one step above cardboard.
First time there, took for ever for me to get a ham and cheese croissant and french fries and my husband a ruben sandwich and potatoes salad. I never received my FF, when we were leaving I told them I did not what my fries. They did try to refund my money but by that time we were walking out the door. They are still pricey for the amount of food.
We ordered a cake for a birthday and it was delicious. Thank you for such a great job. We will definitely order from you all again.
