My son was a patient of Dr Silber for 13 months before we left to find a doctor who cared about his patients. His office is extremely unorganized and you will “slip between the cracks” regularly. We were promised call backs and communication we needed for my son’s health and they never called. I was treated like an inconvenience when I would inevitably call the office for the information we needed to keep my son on a very specific diet. Dr. Silber has been great for my son. I've been such a worrier since he had daily vomiting from reflux as an infant, and Dr. Silber always addresses my concerns. He had my son directly admitted to PCH when his vomiting was at his worst. PCH wasn't my favorite and Dr. Silber even seemed concerned about that. If something comes up he will literally call you directly to discuss concerns about your child. I don't understand the negative reviews. He has literally called me to discuss my child's wellbeing. My experience with Dr. Silber was by far the worst experience i‘ve ever had with a doctor. He was extremely dismissive and told me everything was in my head. I brought up a condition that I wanted to test for and he told me it was “too rare and too severe” for me to have. Flash forward a few years, it turns out I did in fact have that condition and had to go to California to get surgery for it.
