Dr. Sigman is great Dr. Sigman has treated all of our small pets, for fourteen years. He is a no-nonsense pet doctor. I have read some of the reviews. While Dr. Sigman doesn't have the most genial beside manner, he is a competent caring doctor that takes practical care of animals. When you consider that his patients have no say in the cost, and that vets deal with owners with varying degrees of attachment to their pets,, Dr. Sigman delivers quality service. Rick Seen an assistant total scared of dogs. About a year ago I did see Dr. Sigman and he seemed totally annoyed with my dogs the both are 8 yrs old and calm and are inside. He needs to stay with horses because I do have a friend that said he had to call for his horse and he was great.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS I used him once when my vet was out of town, we were referred to him by my vet's answering machine. What a mistake.
Dr Sigman is the vet for me!!! I LOVE Dr. Sigman and all of his Staff. I have used a few other vets around here and they all overcharge and some were clueless. I will admit his bed side manner could use a lot of work but in an emergency he is the one I would call. couple of weeks ago my English Bulldog needed a c-section and I was afraid he wouldn't do it because it was almost 12:00 on sat plus it was the day after it snowed when roads weren't great. Sigman Veterinary Clinic is like Family I have used dr sigman for years he and his staff are very freindly and helpful. We had to have our cat of 13 years put down due to cancer. He and his staff were very conpassionate and I received a sympathy card for our loss. They know us by name and have helped many times for afterhour emergencys. They also treat your animals like your children.
Dr. Sigman was always there for us Dr. Sigman took excellent care of our Yorkshire terrier "Sweet Pea" for 14 years. If we needed him after office hours, he was there for us. At the end of her life he was caring & compassionate to both Sweet Pea & us. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Michael Sigman.
Cali is in alot of pain!!!! I went to Sigman vet. after moving to Covington 1 year ago. I had my 2 cats declawed there. Spent $$$$ at that time. When my cat Cali started bleeding a few weeks ago I took her in to be seen. They diagnosed her with a urinary track infection and gave me meds to correct it. I followed all directions & $80.00 later she has not stopped bleeding. They want more MONEY to see her to again. Another $100.00 to $150.00 per the office staff. Clueless Almost a year ago I took my dog to Dr. Sigman and his staff. My dog was unable to walk and was not acting right. I was told to take her home and if she was not better in a few weeks to bring her back. I then took her to Banfield and after taking on look at her I was told she needed to go to UGA. Ginger ended up having an auto-immune disorder that was attacking her brain. After spending a week at UGA Ginger is doing well. She is on medication and doing well. Pain in the rear to deal with Dr. Sigman is really rude and acts as though you, as a customer are inconveniencing him. Also he charges a $15 prescription fee and refuses to call or fax it in to inconvenience you into using him as a more expensive pharmacy instead of a cheaper on-line retailer. I will never go to him again.
