The food is ok, non-hispanic people will find it to be ok. If you're hispanic, just dont, the tortillas arent made there, the carne guisada was terrible, we left 2 tacos we bought to eat there. I ordered machacado, it was actually small strips of what looked and tasted like carne asada.
Converted house, smaller tables with outlets to charge a phone or tablet or laptop, great food, good portion sizes, eat in and take out.
I showed up right at opening for my first visit, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and exactly what you want from a local restaurant. My server was fantastic and made the experience even better. She recommended the huevos a la mexicana, and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices are honestly some of the best you’ll find around. The green hot sauce was pretty good too.
