I cut my finger badly and knew I needed it sown up. I called the other local hospital because it is closer to my home and nice, small hospital. But when I asked the woman who answered to set an appointment to come to the ER, she said they don't do that. I asked if they could tell me how long the wait was and they said that was against their policy. She switched me to a supervisor who just repeated "it's against our policy". The outpatient lady I spoke to was rude as all heck to me from the second I walked in then when she realized I wasn't lying about my OBs office saying they'd send my orders over but not doing it or sending that wrong ones she then saw how much shit i dealt with just with them she tried to have sympathy for me.
