The hospital is very nice and all of the doctors and nurses have been wonderful. They also have showers in the bathroom!
Mdr ordered a x ray and a mri for my cervicle spine on the 10th of June. I waited a couple of days before I called to see if they got the referral. I wanted to stay on top of it to make sure my Dr would have it in time foe my 7.1 appt. They told me they had an xray order, but sent msg to my neuro surgeon, for clarity. I waited again. Then walked in as they are close to my home. They said they sent a second msg to my surgeon. With no response. So I said I would call them. Doctor told me to come in before 7am so I can be first MRI in line, I was there at 6:30 and waiting 5+ hours just to be handed a piece of paper and then waited another hour on top of that. This place is a joke and I thought Barton was terrible.
I had a very positive experience while having a procedure done at Carson Valley Medical Center. My Cardiologist, Dr. DeSchutter, is excellent, the nurses and specialists were warm and friendly as well as very competent. I want to praise their security and administrative personnel as we lost something while there. They went above and beyond to search the parking lots, their cameras, and even the trash to locate the missing item. Thankfully, they were able to locate and return the item.
