After two hospital births, the Sierra Natural Birth Center was exactly what I was looking for with my third delivery. A calm and soothing place to have my little girl. It was such an amazing experience!

Ellie is the bomb! We planned on a home birth, little man wanted to hang out for another 3 WEEKS! In summer no less. We went to the hospital for induction. What an emotional time for us. I felt like my body had failed me. Ellie was by our side the whole time in the hospital. 15 hours of pitocin induced non drugged labor...she was there. My husband and I just had our daughter at the Sierra Natural Birth Center. Ellie was our midwife and was so incredible throughout my pregnancy, labor, and now through postpartum. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to welcome our daughter into the world! Thank you to Ellie and Dody for such amazing care for our family!
This is so exciting to hear! I am a doula in Calaveres county and just to know that there is going to be a birth center in the area is a major push forward for our areas! The collaboration of mothers, families, doulas and midwives will grow and the awareness of natural birth! I would love to become more involved for sure!
