Sierra Classic Custom Homes is without a doubt one of the best custom home builders that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Each and every employee that I have come into contact with is knowledgeable, professional and prompt with any necessary follow up. A great group of folks that will undoubtedly build you a great custom home given the chance.
Great company. As all Custom Home Builders have in the past, they have had to adjust their timelines and deal with sub -par contractors. It is unfortunate that they get such a bad rating when it seems that they are doing what they can for their customers.

We are currently building with Sierra Classic Homes and we certainly would not recommend them to anyone. It has been over two and a half years and though they are close they still do not have the occupancy permit from LCRA. Additionally they are reneging on the requirement to install handles on the cabinet doors and drawers as previously agreed to by their VP and fifth construction manager. The home released in January of 2022 for construction in one of the more difficult counties to build in and during the post-covid labor and material shortage. Most of the building market experienced increased build times through this period. This home was completed in June of 2023 (1 and a half years) and has been waiting for the LCRA to give the final LTO on the septic system. We are currently building with Sierra Classic Homes, talk about over promising and under delivering. Patrick the sales/Design coordinator was great as well as Elyse at the design center in NB but that is where the quality stopped. Every step of the process once actual construction began has been a bad experience, over priced foundation that had cracks from day one, then they discovered belly’s or low spots on most of the drain lines throughout the home which caused them to have to dig deep holes to repair a process that has ... read more

Our construction and management team have spoken with this client several times to explain any issues that have come up. The foundation cracks have been observed as plastic shrinkage with no action required. These types of cracks are very common in the construction industry and have no structural concern. The low spots in the plumbing were discovered by our plumber sending a camera crew for quality control. My experience with Sierra Classic Home was the worst experience, I’ve ever experience looking for a new home. The sale agent at Sierra Classic Custom Home in Spring Ranch. Their cooperate office is located in Katy Texas. was very rude. He stayed on the phone talking and laughing with someone else, the whole 15-20 minus we were there. I addressed the concern to the agent and he stated, “ I’m on the phone, I’ll be with you in a second.” Well, that never happened, he still continued to make us wait. From time to time they do have calls scheduled with clients that are out of state or city. We have paid good money, with quality credit, and served our countyr and community with honor; and we are treated with disrespect and very little if any true professional customer service. We had our house build in 2019, completed in in 2020 - pre- COVID. We purchased the land 1.5 yrs before building, (My wife and I). This project was very smooth on both sides from the beginning. 1. The home was released to construction on 6/3/2019 and completed on 1/24/2020. We did not change construction managers during this time frame and the manager that built their home is still with the company. 2. All flatwork was poured at the direction of the client for the current rate and costs associated per contract.
