Dr Peykar spent a lot of time going over all my options. I had the cryo-balloon ablation for atrial fibrillation . I feel much better. His staff Michelle and Amanda are excellent as well
Successful ablation in 2009, got in rather quickly due to cancellation I think. Long procedure but worth it, 1 minor episode that same year but no atrial fibrillation since. My cardiologist was thinking ablation before then , but had no one he liked til Dr Peykar. Main thing that sold me was when my cardio said he's the one who fixes other procedure s but his ablations work on the first try. Highly recommend him and his team (probably 10 people were in the operating room) as the best choice.
Very pleased with how patient Dr. Peykar was with my father!!!! Great bedside manor, answered questions throughly and made himself available for any questions my father had about his appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Peykar and his team!!!!!
I have Afib and on my first visit with him, he never listened to my heart. He just touted the new procedures as a possible cure. Said he could do cryoplasty......an unproven, catheter based, high risk procedure, with marginal clinical outcomes. Told me to monitor my blood ox to see if I had sleep apnea. I did this. The results went to him but not to me. I was never called with the results or possible next steps. He should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Peykar is a caring, compassionate physician who is medically and technically gifted. He has my complete faith and trust in his care of me.
Dr Peykar treated my father - he was very thorough and explained all the options. My dad feels great.
Dr. Peykar saw me today without an appt. I was there for another reason and he stopped in to review with me.
I recently had an ablation performed by Dr. Peykar with complete success !!!! Dr. Pekar gets my highest recommendation !!!!
