Loved it -- delicious, convenient What a fun Place! I needed a little down time and did not want to hit the local Hotel restaurant scene. Glad I found this place! Lots of great TV's fun atmosphere and wow what great selection of Micro-brews. To top it all off, the food was both great and affordable. Sidelines is a good destination and I will be back. ... get sidetracked at Sidelines... I opted for the Sideline Burger and onion rings; if you're gonna go somewhere maybe once, I figured getting the namesake item is a good bet... The Sideline Burger: 1/3 pound grilled burger, with cheese, 3 slices of crispy bacon, deli ham (yeah, a sam'ich worth of sliced ham!), and fried egg (yeah, a fried egg!). Served with lettuce, pickle, tomato... you know, to make it healthy, right? And Grey Poupon... you know, to make it classy! The place has about 6(?) teevees throughout; two over th... read more

Great Find! Good Food... Excellent Drinks and Perfect Service! – Nice Sports Bar atmosphere with lots of Big Screen TV's with ALL the Games! Stopped by Sunday for the first time during the NFL Playoffs... asked to see if I could also get one of the TV's put on the PGA Golf at Kapalua Maui and they were so freindly to ablige! Great Beers on Tap... I had two Microbrews from the tap and then what the Bartender called a "Debra Jo's Special".... Tuwaka and Cran... soooooo smooth! A GREAT HANGOUT – I could not disagree more with the previous review. I find sidelines to be a friendly, comfortable, low key place to hang out. The manager is a bit shy, I think, but always friendly, and I have always had great waitresses and waiters. And I think the menu is great compared to most pub food. Their new pizza is AMAZING! It's no hip, crowded club or fancy restaurant, but more just a great place to hang out, after work or anytime you want to unwind with friends.
a great hidden joint when in NorthEast – I disagree with the one bad review written here. Maybe that guy was just being a jerk or something. Whenever I'm hungry in NorthEast Portland, I often go to Sidelines, hidden back between McDonalds and a Plaid Pantry. It's a great find. The food is GREAT (try the chicken strips with BBQ sauce!) The people are so cool it gives that Cheers-like vibe. The hamburgers are awesome. The mood is fun and relaxed. Whenever business clients come into town briefly, I take them to Sidelines before... read more
