Mac. And. Cheese.
This is my first visit to Bar Harbor. Side Street Cafe was highly recommended by many people, including the hotel staff. I can see why. The drink specials were out of this world, the mac and cheese more than lived up to its reputation, and the Maine blueberry pie... wow! My server, Tyler, was fantastic... very helpful and friendly. And the prices are very reasonable. I’ll be back to Bar Harbor, and I’ll most definitely be back to Side Street Cafe, maybe even before this trip is over! Aces all around!
This was our favorite meal of our trip by far!! I really loved my Mac and cheese customized with bacon and spinach (it was a huge portion!!). My husband loved his spicy Tex-mex tacos. We were also pleasantly surprised with the blueberry pie. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Great food and great service! Very friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. Very flexible with the menu and sweet with our two small dogs. Will definitely go back.
