i was a part of their youth program a while back. i stayed there for 5 days a week, coming home on weekends. the walls are hard brick. you’re only allowed 5 minute showers, even for females, and if you go any longer than that, a staff member will come in. there’s barely any real therapy. just one group thing a day. when i was there, they made us eat dried crickets for ‘sensory mindfulness’ and they FORCED everyone to do it. i wish i could make this up, this happened on my first week there. this was years and years ago but th... read more
