We’re frequent customers, and we haven’t had a bad experience until tonight. It was very disappointing for what we paid. The food was oily and bland. Normally our food is delightfully spicy, but tonight it was anything but.
We had dinner with a group of friends. The large round table for 8 was very comfortable and made for easy conversation. Our server was friendly, and helpful with our questions about the menu. Recommended appetizers: Dan Dan Noodles, Steamed Vegetable Dumplings Recommended entrees: Spicy Chicken in Flaming Pan (delicious, spicy for sure, but more complex than just heat, huge portion), Black Pepper Shrimp with Asparagus

I feel really disappointed and hurt to give this restaurant 1 star. It was go to place in Pittsburgh for Chinese food. But as the time goes they are determined to decrease their quality of foods, increase price and produce tasteless food. Everything from head on shrimp, boiled fish, shredded potato, fish fillet to fish in broth, vegeterian dishes went from top star to tasteless. The owner should focus on food quality not only on profit.
Good food, my friends always come here for birthdays because there are huge tables and lazy susans in the middle - perfect for sharing! The food always hits the spot and you cant go wrong with any of their American-Chinese or authentic options. Service is meh but that is to be expected at any restaurant like this (the main focus is the food). I would recommend coming here for a birthday dinner if you are in a big college friend group!
