There used to be a time where I would have given the ER of this hospital 5 stars hands down. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. While the staff is nice, the hospital has become a shelter for those without permanent homes and mental health facility. I’ve had to come a couple of times this month for different family members and each time there have been patients laying all over multiple chairs in the waiting area and taking up additional chairs with their personal belongings. I’ve been sitting here with a dislocated shoulder for over 7 hours, and still have not been seen. There’s no water in the fountain or the vending machine, the front desk cannot give any updates. The only update that I got was there is only one physician and no nurses. How is this supposed to be an ER?

After waiting 5.5 hours, I left (in pain). Go somewhere else. It was a mess. Not very busy, just a real mess.

I'm conflicted with this review. Now that a day has passed, I can look back and say the care that I received was great. But man, the wait times were brutal. All of the doctors and nurses that took care of me were kind and competent. I naively did not expect to have a 7 hour experience at the ER. I'm not sure if this is just a small ER or if this ER is understaffed. 11:42 AM - arrived 12:45 PM - triage. Blood draw and urine. ​I​ was told I will be imaged and then examined 04:20 PM - CT scan.
