I used to love going to Siam Spicy, the food was excellent. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and was looking forward to it as it's been several years since I've been to this location. The dish had absolutely no flavor, just heat. Very disappointed considering this used to be the best Thai restaurant in metro Detroit.
We've been going here for 26 years and unfortunately the last few times the quality has gone down. Portions have shrunk as well. Service great; pleasant and prompt, however our 'mild' dish was too hot for me to eat.
Not only is the service great and the staff is truly one of the nicest people out there, the food is excellent and I keep coming back with friends to show them how awesome this place is. I always recommend the Larb or the Pad See Ew. I know my friends have tried other items too and it's always great. Highly recommend!
I was here yesterday and it was my first time. The food was delicious, the service was pleasant and the person I was with was the icing on the cake. I will be back. Siam Spicy is very warm and welcoming!
I've been coming here since the 80s. By far my favorite Thai restaurant. Whenever I'm in the area I go out of my way to visit. I miss it now that I'm not close enough to go often.
This place is amazing. No idea how the other reviews were not 5 stars? The food is always freshly prepared and generous servings. My family and I have been going to Siam Spicy for over 10yrs now and each time we are beyond pleased with the food and service! The best Thai food in the Royal Oak area. See for yourself, it is so worth checking out and experiencing the best Thai food ever!
