Absolutely horrendous experience. Would not recommend. Bit of a sinister character.

I had an Excellent Experience with Dr Thakkar. I have lived my entire life with GI issues and have been to 3 other doctors before finding Dr Thakkar. Shortly after my first visit I knew I was on the right path moving forward. It turns out I needed to have a procedure done which only Dr Thakkar was able to do in the Pittsburgh Area. The procedure was flawless and life changing. I have sent friends and family to see Dr Thakkar and everyone is extremely pleased with their results. I would highly recommend Dr Thakkar.
I needed to be seen by a GI doctor asap and I have seen other wonderful doctors at ACDH. I was first patient in the morning he came in 45 minutes late. He spent maybe 10 minutes ordered a few blood tests would not recommend any over the counter products. Pushed on my stomach twice never listens for bowel sounds. When he quickly got up to leave I said "Aren't you going to do anything to help me?" and he said maybe when tests come back in 10 days. I found out on the "mychart" the results of tests. Excellent Physician. He understood my condition and I no longer have symptoms after a single procedure.
He has been amazing! Only doctor to figure out the problem. Very kind and spends time explaining everything. Best Doctor!
I liked Dr T very much, I believe he is a good doctor. I like that he doesn't make you come in to the office constantly and waste time. Having said that, I met him once in the office and wished he would have followed up following my scopes in person. Dr T referred me to his associate when I feel that he could have helped my himself, had he seen me for a follow up to see my condition. I didn't appreciate that his nurse would give me her opinion and her recommendations, I pay for his expertise
