I appreciate the response from the new owners who bought The Plantation Shutter Company and changed the name. I hope they do a better job. My experience still stands true for my experience with The Plantation Shutter Company, as they sold me my shutters while they were selling their business and never told me they were selling. What they did tell me was about their wonderful "Life of the Product" warranty, which was worth nothing since they sold the business. My plantation shutters were installed in 2005 before Shutters of the Strand took over. Two of my shutters pins broke . Shutters of the Strand came to my rescue. I searched everywhere for a pin to fix them and Christopher and his team in Myrtle Beach, SC sent them to me in the mail. I am VERY GRATEFUL! They found my purchase and sent the correct pins and within minutes it was fixed. I appreciate their professionalism, research ability and expertise. Yesterday I had shutters installed in my Carolina room and an adjoining room . I just can’t say enough about how happy I am with how they turned out! Beyond my expectations!!! Chris is truly a professional and a pleasure to work with. He is prompt and does beautiful work. I was so happy with how great the shutters looked that I called him back to measure the windows in my dining room and kitchen. Can’t wait for them to be installed.
