After a few years I didn’t want to leave this misleading review up. Shumate was great when I needed to buy a new system but when I had a problem and needed service I was ghosted for weeks till I gave up trying. Jeff was so happy to receive my five star review but never returned a single message when I needed help. I understand people being busy but weeks of ignoring calls? Not right. Shumate has been exceptional to work with in replacing our furnaces. Tommy came out and gave us a quote and some great suggestions/ information and once our decision was made we had the furnaces within 2 days. The installers were clean and answered all of our questions and worked within our schedule. They also took care of some extra issues for us with no complaints. Highly recommend.
I currently have maintenance service with Shumate. Well after months of telling me nothing was wrong with my a/c and telling me I just put it too cold-they finally figured out my evaporator coil was leaking. So they replaced it the end of August which of course isn’t cheap. They told me that it had a warranty and would send me the info. I emailed them about this and they told me they would take care of it then …..nothing. I phoned Jeremy in the Shumate plumbing dept. about a slow-flowing bathroom faucet in a bathroom with dual sinks. Taylor and Connor came and tried a few methods to correct, and also tried the aerator in both faucets…then cleaned the holes out with a pin… Made all the difference, otherwise it would be replace the entire faucet set. You are both GREAT!….Thank-you all !!! Love having Shumate take care of heating/air. Plumbing and Handy Man.
Nelson installed a new evaporator coil for me today. He was on time, friendly and professional. If I owned a company, I would want all my employees to be like him.
