My wife and I have both gone to see Dr. Shuman quite a few times over the years. We have received very good care including orthotics, among several other issues. We find her to be knowledgeable and friendly, with a helpful staff. We recommend her highly.
Everything else seems good, but podiatrist need some skills , and because the lack of skills dealing with your feet I can't recommend Dr. Shuman, she seems on trying to sell insoles, etc... so if you need those I can recommend her, but if you need your corn or calluses taken care off, go somewhere else.
Dr. Shuman s office is very friendly and professional. Dr. Shuman herself is very personable and knowledgeable. We have been to her office for my daughters and they each had a great experience. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reputable podiatrist.
I had an ingrown toenail and needed to see someone asap. I called around and found that Dr Shuman had a cancelation that day - I took it. I drove from my home in Fairfax Station to her office in Sterling. It was worth every mile. Very professional and friendly office. Dr Shuman saw me on time and couldn't have been more pleasant. She immediately identified that problem and fixed it within one minute. I would highly recommend Dr Shuman.
I saw Dr. Shuman today, and I liked her immediately. I even continued to like her after she gave me cortisone shots in the bottoms of my feet. She knew just where I hurt, why I hurt, and has a plan for keeping me in high fashion (Converse). I would highly recommend her. She's friendly and smart and doesn't ride that high horse that some doctors enjoy.
