Always a positive experience. Any hygienist I have seen has been pleasant, thorough, and accomodating for my TMJ as well as clearly explaining brushing and other care techniques. Associates in Periodontics is highly professional and provides excellent periodontal services. Their hygienists are thorough and knowledgeable while being very attentive to the patient ‘s needs and comfort. I would highly recommend this practice for periodontal needs.
Wonderful office and staff. Parking is easy. The staff is friendly, professional and cohesive. The office is clean and the treatment rooms are comfortable and up to date. Dr. Shuman is top notch. He didn't hesitate to help me with a dental problem that occurred after hours. I highly recommend Dr. Shuman!

Can’t say enough positive about Dr Shuman’s practice: He and his staff are professional and courteous, and his office is the most aesthetically pleasing I’ve encountered - quite literally a work of art - which instantly puts me at ease. None of that would matter if the periodontal support wasn’t top rate but it is, and my Baby Boomer teeth and gums are in the pink.

One of my best experiences with any health provider has been with Dr. Shuman. He and his staff taught me how to address my problem with self-care at home, leading to improvements that made further intervention unnecessary. They really took the time to make sure I understood how to make the changes they suggested, and followed up with me consistently to make sure everything was going well. He has been incredibly generous with his time and expertise. Very highly recommended!
