Ate here for first time tonight and it was amazing! Ordered 1 lb of shrimp that was so good we ended up ordering another 1/2lb. The portions and prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back this week before we head back home and highly recommend to our friends and family that vacation the island!
My husband and I have been here 2 xs already and there's nothing bad I can say about this place. It is amazing!!! Food is spectacular!!! Service is wonderful. We have been locals in the Hampstead/Surf City area for 7 years now and I have to say this is the BEST place to eat in this area. It's about time we got something worth keeping in the area. Great food and service. We have been here twice this week, and will be coming back again. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the owner and staff are some the nicest, most accommodating people we have met.

I must say when I was working on the shuckin shack I was a little weary on how they would do... but after meeting Jason and his wife and seeing what kind of people they were Knew they would do good. First time I ate there was amazing... I I was raised on seafood... everything was cooked perfect and they get a majority of their seafood local so it was a great experience. Great food. Great service. Glad there's finally a seafood restaurant I want to go back to in Topsail
John Anthony Toler and I were there Tuesday, 7-21-15, and enjoyed sitting at the bar for dinner. We had the basket of shrimp and oysters w/ fries. They were cooked just right, not greasy, full of delightful flavor. Our server was Cheri and she made our "date night" at total success! Loved the atmosphere, the friendliness, and the vibe! We shared a rum cake and it was spectacular!!!!
