Food and staff was absolutely great!!!!! We had the Maine lobster special available on Friday nights and the price is right.
The perfect place for all my food favorites...steamed clams and crab legs, delicious oysters, and the best fries around! I can also say all beverages sampled thus far are the top in taste. The décor is unique and so definitive of a beach setting.
Been going to Topsail for 20 years and happy to see a fun, modern place like this open. Great food and atmosphere! Will definitely be going again during our next vacation. Only thing missing is some Ohio State gear ;)

LOVE this place, the food and the staff is absolutely amazing. Thank you Shari, best waitress I've had anywhere!! As far as the food, I highly recommend the Steam pot! I've had many at different places. This was the best by far!!! Loaded with fresh seafood. Shrimp Taco's also great! You will need to stop in on your next visit to Topsail Island for lunch or dinner or do like we did, twice during our visit. Had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment this weekend! The staff (Shari- U ROCK!) and owners went above and beyond my expectations! It was so good we ate there twice! Next time you visit Topsail Island, you don't want to miss the opportunity to dine at The Shack!!
We loved the food, atmosphere, and people…especially the owners and Shari! The painkillers were awesome too! :) Great service, great food, great drinks, and great folks!!! We will definitely be back…a bunch!
We have been missing an oyster bar in this area ! Went today, food was delicious, service was excellent, a fun place to watch football!,,,,,already have friends wanting to go! Hope to be "regulars" at Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar!
