I think it was Heather who waited on us martha Fay Montgomery. She is excellent! This is the best place! Fresh fish and shellfish, and you can order grilled with no seasoning. Breaking on fried shrimp very light. The steamed oysters and clams are excellent too. Finally! Just need more tables and an outside dining area....
We had a wonderful experience for lunch at the Shuckin' Shack. Diane waited on our group that had two adults and 4 teens. She offered gave suggestions, answered questions about certain items and was very pleasant! All of our food was great, which included shrimp baskets, steamed shrimp, chicken sandwich and oysters. We've been coming to Topsail for 22 years and this is the first casual, beach restaurant that we've found that delivers great seafood at a reasonable price! We'll be back and recommend to our friends!
Great drinks! Great food! Try the oysters...they are perfection!
I feel "hated" is a bit strong but we were highly disappointed. Waitress gave a speech about saving the turtles when my mom asked for a straw yet tables around us had them. Waitress forgot some of the drinks and a side order. Food was only ok and a bit pricey for what we got.
