Brought my family from Iowa, best food we had the entire visit! The atmosphere was great, the service was A+... thank you CJ�������
Called to get a order to go and employee said they didn't have time to do a to go order. Maybe someone else can use my money.
Great food, great craft beer, fun staff and involved ownership. Surf City is lucky to have this place local.
My wife and I went on a whim, you might say. Had never been nor ever heard about the place. We went in, staff very friendly, menu selections seemed great. We ordered, our food came very quickly and was delicious. Waitress saw I was struggling with peeling my shrimp ( which I have never done in my life) showed me how to peel them. We have added it to our list of places to go.

My family ate at Shuckin' Shack on Saturday, August 12th. The servers were cheerful. My son's steamed oysters on the half shell were prepared nicely and had a wonderfully sweet flavor. The fried oysters that I specified to be "very, very lightly done" were very overdone and dry. When I brought it to the server's attention that I had ordered my oysters very, very lightly done, and they were overdone, she replied that they just looked that way because of the "dark color of the batter", with no offer to make the order right.
