I was a patient, now I am a Shriner and my son is a patient currently. It is the best place in the world to receive care. I'm a proud former patient and proud Shriner.
My son had many leg surgeries at Shiners Tampa, Doc Rainey was amazing along with all the staff, granted most of the staff is probably gone, Vince had surgery starting back in 1998-2005, just amazing hospital. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think Vince could run like a normal kid but he did and he became a Marine. Thank You Shiners.
Very clean, good coordination, good treatment and the staff OMG!!! they are amazing.
My grandson is a 100% success story. He has been coming to the Shriner's Hospital in Tampa Florida since he was born in 2009. He has undergone several procedures to correct his foot position and movement. He was born with a tumor on his spine, when the tumor was removed they had to remove his coccyx bone as well as several tendons and nerves causing his foot to not work properly or to straighten and lay flat on its own, always wearing a brace and going to therapy twice a week for the last seven years. Shriners is a one stop shop for all my daughters orthopedic needs. She is 8 and has been in wheelchair since she was 2. Shiners saves us about 10 visits a year to multiple locations for doctors, X-rays, wheelchair and orthotics appointments. We feel so blessed by their dedication to quality care of our children. Thank you Shriners.
