They have been treating my brother since he was 2yrs old. He is now 17 and just had his third surgery here at Shriners and as always they are wonderful. They have no problem helping you get everything you need so you can be comfortable and help get the things you need to be home. I love them so much and he has grown up with them. This is his second family!! They all know him as soon as he walks in and come to see him even if they aren't part of the team he is seeing this visit. They truly care and are wonderful people. Shriner's Children's Hospital of Chicago is excellent. They truly care for the children and are great with the parents, too. They work hard to be sure your child will be comfortable when they get home. We travel to them because they are the best!
My youngest son was born without his right arm and radial deficiency in his left. The doctors and POPS team are amazing!! I always look forward to our trips up for appointments! My kids feel welcomed and everyone is so happy to see us!
I cannot express enough the gratitude that we have for the Shriners and for the hospital. They do so much for us, and for hundreds of other families, without asking for anything in return.
