I'm a burn survivor who would likely not be walking and living normally without this hospital. I was burned in 1993, when I was 2 years old, and turned 3 in the hospital. The Shriner's hospital took me as a patient just after my discharge from our local children's hospital. They did a few surgeries on me, to make sure my growth would not be hindered at all in any way. My son went to the hospital in Cincinnati when they was open great hospital. Now that they have moved we can’t get anyone to help us get him set up for appointments he needs he needs to have surgery on his hand and his finger again but no one will call us back set up appointment at all . They have went down hill they don’t care very sad. So year later after we have try to get a hold of them to get my son in to see what we can do for his hands and fingers . My son grabbed my curling iron in a split second and ended up being seen at Shriner’s to do follow up care. The nurses and staff were WONDERFUL with my son and we had all around great care. They were reassuring and patient with him, as well as thorough and prompt.
