We came for a second opinion from plastic surgery and neurosurgery. When I chimed in about something I had been told by previous neurosurgeons, the Shriners neurosurgeon essentially told me to shut up. He said the way he runs appointments is he talks and then I can when he’s done. He said if I don’t agree with that there is no point in the appointment. RecommendedI love they are a teaching hospital! I have had the best medical care and experiences with hospitals that teach and I’m convinced already this will be the same. I feel included in my son’s care so far and have the opportunity to learn and grow in his development. The people are all so kind. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a changing table available.... but I was so thankful to the staff for supporting me in meeting the need.

RecommendedI’m extremely sad to say that now that im 23yrs of age I outgrew Shriners..I’m sad because if it was up to me I would stay here all my adult hood life too! I was born w/ hip dysplasia and I been coming here since I can even remember. I LOVE IT!!!! I ALWAYS ALWAYS recommend this place in heart beat! The last time I went I think I was 21 or 22 and I would walk in and staff and Dr. and nurses would greet me like I was one of them 💞 they were always sooooooo freaking sweet , I would drive an Hr away from home to go to them.
