I was a patient at Shriner's from the time I was a year & 1/2 old (1966). I had MANY MANY MANY Surgeries of the years. My Last surgery there was in 1984. I met so many friends and still cherish all of them and truly cherish all the memories I gained throughout the years. I am so thankful everyday that Shriner's was such a big part of my life. Witam serdecznie. Nazywam się Bożena Oleszkowicz i chciałabym z całego serca podziękować całemu Personelowi Szpitala Shriners za wspaniałe podejście do swoich pacjentów oraz ich Rodziców. W 2014 roku dzięki Fundacji Dar Serca mogłam leczyć w nim swoją córkę Kalinkę. Poziom oraz zaangażowanie w ratowaniu zdrowia dzieci jest na najwyższym poziomie a atmosfera i życzliwość jaka w nim panuję jest tak wspaniała, że mimo cierpienia związanego z chorobą jest całkowicie nieodczuwalna. I want to know why a young lady who has ceverbal palszy was denid a specialized bed.The family ws totol they could only get her a hosptal bed. If a person needs assistance for everything she should be able to get what she needs so she does it hurt herself.

I was there from 1955 to 68. Just loved it. School, activities, & when I was older spending time with the little one. I fixed their hair for the Sunday visitation. My doctor was Dr. Miller. I was able to see him several years later.

That hospital is like you are somewhere that theres no worry or problems.Everyone you pass speaks with a smile like they have been knowing you forever.I love places like that.The kids think that they are at a amusement park instead of a hospital.The nurses are beautiful people.Thanks again. I had the honor to be a part of the shriners family as a volunteer. It was a great opportunity and lifetime of beautiful memories...I have nothing but respect for all that shriners has to offer!
