The care is beyond spectacular. My daughter, now 28, was asked to write an essay in 4th grade about her favorite place. She had already had several surgeries at Shriners. She told me she couldn't decide between Disney World or Shriners! In my book that says it all. She ended up picking Shriners! Amazing organization, and staff, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making her feel special on each and every operation and visit! Cathy Piasecki

We came for a second opinion from plastic surgery and neurosurgery. When I chimed in about something I had been told by previous neurosurgeons, the Shriners neurosurgeon essentially told me to shut up. He said the way he runs appointments is he talks and then I can when he’s done. He said if I don’t agree with that there is no point in the appointment. At the conclusion of the appointment he gave me his card and mentioned I could have my son’s primary neurosurgeon call him. And then we never heard from him again. I called mu... read more

I’m extremely sad to say that now that im 23yrs of age I outgrew Shriners..I’m sad because if it was up to me I would stay here all my adult hood life too! I was born w/ hip dysplasia and I been coming here since I can even remember. I LOVE IT!!!! I ALWAYS ALWAYS recommend this place in heart beat! The last time I went I think I was 21 or 22 and I would walk in and staff and Dr. and nurses would greet me like I was one of them 💞 they were always sooooooo freaking sweet , I would drive an Hr away from home to go to them. Cam... read more

I was born with CP, scoliosis, kyphosis, and a little bit of juvenile arthritis. As I have gotten older, I’ve needed multiple surgeries, but the 2 most recent are my Chiari surgery in 2015, and a hip surgery in 2016, performed by my amazing doctor, Dr. Cappello! Since my surgery in ‘16, I have needed to use a walker, but not because of my hip. As of right now, I use my walker because of my back pain. Over time, my back has gotten so bad that I can’t even walk independently without pain for more than 5 min. I’ve tried PT, but... read more
