Took our son and daughter in law here during their visit, and, as always, the food was great, portions were generous, and we all left full. Waitress was a trainee but so very nice and attentive, wonderful service. This is, by far, my husband's and my favorite place, and has been since we found the old location at Royal Palm Square. When it closed, we just searched until we found Metro, and we've been coming here monthly ever since, and ALWAYS bring our visitors. The Shrimp Shack never lets us down!!!
Fish tacos where delicious, the best I've had. However, the oysters on the half shell were horrible. They were not fresh, very mushy. This should be taken off of the menu.

The best seafood I have ever eaten. I live 3 hrs away and will make a special trip down just to eat there again...

Had dinner last night, everything was great. Ashton was our server and she is fantastic. Food is great and so are the prices. Portions are generous. I had the Monday special and look forward to trying some of the other daily specials. Will definitely rates a return visit.

Was in last evening for dinner with 2 others. Connie was our server, she was funny and took great care of us! We started off with a shrimp cocktail. Such fresh tasty chilled shrimp, they are large too. Definitely a must have. 2 of us had fried Shrimp, both had Cole slaw one house made chips the other had onion rings. All sides were way above average!! Our land lubber had Boom Boom Chicken with Cesar salad and yellow rice. She said the salad was very fresh but the rice so so. But she loved the boom boom chicken.
