My recent first Office visit with Dr. Gudeman Went very well. He took x - rays and examined my range of motion in my shoulder. Prescribed Starting PT next week. My husband also has seen Dr. Gudeman A few years ago and he recommended him for my shoulder problem. I felt very comfortable talking to him and his other Doctor that came in the room with him. Hope I will be feeling better very soon with the PT.

I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Gudeman and his PT. They spent close to an hour with me checking range of motion and explaining the rotator cuff surgery. He went over my MRI and X-Rays and post surgery. This was my second orthopedic surgeon and I rate the other the other doctor with a grade of D- and this staff and doctor with an A. He took the time to answer all of my questions and then some. I am in PT now so he gave me more exercises to do pre-surgery. Ortho Indy is the finest for any orthopedic problems.

Was told that I had a torn meniscus and that’s about all the information we were given. Was advised that surgery would take 2 hours, 3 incisions and a very painful recovery. Received a second opinion; Same diagnosis but it was explained to us. Along with a shredded meniscus, also suffering from a Bakers Cyst that was never explained. New surgeon, 25 min surgery, 2 very small incisions and a very quick recovery. Huge difference from 2 surgeons practicing the same medicine. Dr. Gudeman has performed 2 surgeries on me. I could not be more pleased. His expertise, skill, bedside manners are superb. I could not have asked for a better outcome, not only in the surgery results but also in the overall experience with Dr. Gudeman and OrthoIndy. As my mortal body continues to fall apart, Dr,. Gudeman will be my first call for putting it back together. Thanks!

Dr.Gudeman did a terrific job w/my daughter's shoulder surgery. My ONLY issue is that he and his staff are OVERLY conservative in their rehab protocols. My daughter (15U) was told NO (ZERO) throwing til 9 month post-op. This is TWICE the timeframe of most other surgeons and why we chose to pursue rehab via another sports medicine ortho doc. Discuss timeframes in advance and do your research. My daughter is doing VERY well and released to play at 8 months post op.

Dr. Gudeman did an amazing job! He repaired my rotator cuff and it went really well, even though I also had several other issues (frozen shoulder, bone spur). I was fully recovered and back to normal a month before expected!

Nine years ago I tore my meniscus in my left knee and Dr Gudeman repaired my knee to better than before I hurt. Over the years my has gotten stronger and I have had no pain or problems with my knee. I am a 57 yr old man and i officiate about 100 basketball games a year. I think I recently just tore my right knee reffing a basketball game I am going back to Dr G to fix this knee. My surgery was quick and painless the first time and I have all the confidence in Dr. Gudeman to fix me again.
