Food and service were excellent! We all enjoyed the fried chicken livers, chicken tenders, pulled pork sandwich. Great white gravy & biscuit too! The whole place looked much brighter than I remembered. Friendly staff.

Got ripped off at Shorty Smalls Friday drinking with friends... bills was $52 and they added $18 liquor TAX!!!! Never Again!!! #shortysmallsucks

Good day sir, unfortunately the tax situation is out of our hands. The city imposed a 33% tax on liquor sold a restaurants. We would like to see this changed as much as you do. This is in no way an attempt to rip you off. The organization in charge of these tax rates is the city of Little Rock.
Service was horrible. Went there for my daughters birthday. They weren't busy. Waitress took over 3 minutes to get our drink order, when she came she didn't greet us. She didn't ask if we wanted appetizers I had to tell her. She then didn't come back to take our order till after appetizers came. My water went empty didn't get it filled till I got my meal. Always delicious! Anyone that hasn't ate at Shorty Smalls in Little Rock, should. They wouldn't regret it! My personal favorite is Sadie's Ribs!!! I haven't found any where that makes them like Shorty Smalls.
