I’m a first time home buyer and Shorewest was the seller’s agent. Absolute charlatans. We’ve been tossed around between 3 agents and even at the closing some questions remained unanswered! They are just there for the money! Any deadline in the offer missed because they never replied back to any questions nor provided requested documents in time and answered 3-4 days after the deadline and then said we missed the deadline! Buyer Beware! Imagine finding the home of your dreams, getting an accepted offer, going through the long process (and costly) of inspections, loan approvals, etc, only to have it sold to someone else days before the closing. Heart breaking! This happened to me and my family and we were devastated. This selling agent will continue to pursue other buyers even after an accepted offer and use a small contingency to get out of the deal if she can find someone who will pay more. Our first impressions were great as our realtor gave us a reasonable asking price for our home that we agreed on and informed us that we had a lot of room to work with to make sure we came out ahead.
