The mattress in our room had a giant bloody stain on it, the small refrigerator was full of mold, and when both of these issues were brought to the attention of management they said "what do you expect"?
Friendly and responsive staff. Convenient location in relationship to downtown and interstate access. Recently renovated and is attached to one of the best diners in the Midwest which is also a local staple within the community. Great spot for traveling on a budget or for weekend stays.
This is where low income pornos and hookers come to prosper. The service desk was at least very polite and helped us with switching rooms from a really unclean and messy room. Although I'm convinced she was the only employee here because this place is eerily quiet.
Booked single room for two nights, left first thing in the morning after first night right when we woke up and canceled second night. Didn't have one single amenity that the website stated (no mini-fridge, no coffee maker, definitely not a flat screen, and not even a blow dryer), barely even clean (and they left the nasty rags out for us to deal with), and after smelling something funky all night ended up finding PUKE on the bedskirt that got all over my winter jacket and other clothes...
