Back passenger door on 2001 Lexus would not open. I was told that the actuator was bad. They installed new actuator and same problem persisted. Carried car back and left for repairs. One week later was told car was ready for pickup. Total cost for for two repairs was just under $1000.00. The solution was a $47.50 part (right rear door module). Was the actuator bad?
