RecommendedI was just in to see Dr. Danboise today with my 16 year old cat. Dr. D. always has wonderful bedside manner and is extremely caring and compassionate as well as knowledgeable. She really listens and hears what the individual has to say regarding their pet and I never feel rushed when I see her. Vet Tech. I dealt with today El was friendly and kind also. I’ve been bringing my animals to Dr. D. since 1997-1998 and will continue to do so.

Dr Danboise and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They all helped my dog Macho through so much. He wouldnt have lived as long as he had without you all. We started machos cancer journey back in February. Macho lived until he was 10. We got him when he was 2. We have always taken him to shop city. I want to start this off by saying that the staff here are very kind and accommodating. The free first visit is pretty nice too. However, I took both of my cats to this location several times, and both have had severe, preventable medical emergencies because the doctors here failed to recognize their symptoms and do the appropriate tests. One cat has had breathing problems her whole life, which the staff at VCA Shop City repeatedly dismissed as an upper respiratory infection every single time we brought her in. Mariah who works in the front office is the heart of shop city. Adore her! She always knows me & my cats by name & asks about them plus goes above & beyond & is so friendly. She deserves kudos and a raise & time off!! I also love Dr. Gupta. When my kitty was super super sick and in the emergency vet struggling for her life, he called to ask me how she was & that he was thinking of her all weekend. They really care here!

My dog has disc issues and happened to flare up during the pandemic. We are new to NY and no one was taking new patients because of Covid19. They took my dog, got his previous records and got him started on meds within hours of me calling. He was eating and wagging his tail a few hours after starting the meds. Everyone was so kind. Thank you! We’ll certainly go back for routine care.
