I will be surprised if this location is open in a year. Shoney's really needs to concentrate less on being a corporation and more on being a restaurant. I went in at about 2 pm today. The waitress took me to the seat I requested. I have a favorite. I eat there once or twice a week, but always at night. I looked at the food bar and told the waitress that I was having the bar. I don’t typically review places, but after visiting this place I knew I needed to. I’m not from around the area and have never been to a Shoney’s. I let the server (Zi’nesha) know and she jumped into recommendations and information which was very helpful. I ordered an 8oz steak cooked to perfection with mashed potatoes.
