Not Athentic....Cooks & Waitress' American – I have been to Shoguns many times & never was dissapointed till recently when I decided to take my 11 yr old there for his birthday. I called 2 weeks prior to make reservations on a Sunday @ 6:00 which I thought maybe better than a weekend. Upon arrival our table was not ready so we were asked to sat in the bar. Best Japanese food in town, always make reservations ,and you'll make a great memory! – My husband and I had our first date here back in 1988 and we have been coming back for each anniversay since. We also bring our children or anyone that has never ate Japanese food . We have had great service and great food. Thank you Shoguns for the good memories.
Dissapointing – We called to make a reservation and they said they were full. We decided to show up anyway. They had several open tables yet the hostess ecsorted us to the bar. We waited close to 30 minutes without having anyone ask us is if we wanted something to drink....They acted as though we were a nuisance. I love Shogun! – I love Shogun. The service and food are excellent. The only problem I have had is trying to eat all of my meal!
Shoguns – The food was great! The service was great! The amount of food you recieve for the money is even better! Very fair prices I highly recomend this restaurant
Shogun appetizers – I had one of the worst experiences of my life at Shoguns Japanese Steak House. I have never experienced something like this in my life. I ordered the shrimp appetizer to go along with my meal that includes shrimp for $4.25 extra. I received 4 extra shrimp for my $4.25 which is a total ripoff. I talked the manager after our meal to question the lack of shrimp for the price. He said that was the normal serving and there was nothing he could do about it. Very good – We totally enjoyed the restaurants. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. The chef's skill with a knife was actually better than in some of the shogun restaurants in Japan. We'd recommend this place to anyone!
