John is a great instructor, more than that he understood his audience. He knew about the trip we were planning and focused us on being prepared for the possible risks. He kept the class interesting, blended humor with serious discussions. There had to be at least a 100 years of camping and first aid experience in the room and I guarantee that everyone walked out more prepare for a wilderness fist aid situation.
I had an amazing experience! I took the “test out” option, the online course was quite interactive, and John was extremely kind and helpful at the skill session at his Phoenixville location.

Mr. Shoen has facilitated CPR courses at my place of employment. He has fun jingles and techniques to booster the learning environment for his students. Plus, he offers Spanish bilingual CPR classes. Folks learn and have a good time, win win!
