I'm so disappointed in the entire experience here. We took my daughters prom dress in 2 weeks ago for alterations. ShoAne herself pinned the dress and said it would be ready in a week and would cost about 75. When I called it wasn't ready and they said give them a few days. A week later 4 days before prom we went in after calling several times to check on the dress and the alterations were not correct. Then after having to fix their mistake they quoted a higher price. I would not recommend her bridal shop ! She gives you one price and then once you get the dress it’s another price ! She charges what she wants to charge !!! Half of the wedding party dresses didn’t not fit even after she charged us for alterations! She kept her scarfs to our dress and said she used them for fabric , even though she charged us to say she had to go get fabric ! She’s rude and I wouldn’t recommend. My group was quoted a price on two dresses. Then, after some of us had ordered, she said she gave us the wrong prices. Instead of owning up to her mistake, she was trying to get us to pay the difference than what we were quoted. She then refused to refund the people who had already placed their order. The dresses we received, some of them didn’t fit at all. Even though we gave her our measurements. They fit like they came from Wish. The biggest mistake of planning my wedding was walking into Sho-Anes. It has been a nightmare. I am warning you!!!! Wedding planning is SO stressful - don't add a greedy, unorganized, lying dress shop on top of it. Got a great deal on my wedding dress. However, alterations cost almost as much as my dress. We were also told some of the little jewels up top that were missing would be replaced. That didn't happen. Sho Ane's has an amazing selection of dresses! I can always find what I want. Sho Ane and her seamstress do very beautiful work even if you didn't buy the dress from her boutique.
I highly recommend Sho Ane’s! I went somewhere else and had initial alterations done. The dress was altered wrong. I was not happy when I put my dress on, it had horrible bunching. I took it to her in a tizzy because my wedding is just next week. She took my dress right in and had it fixed with just one fitting!!! I give her 10 ⭐️! Now I feel happy and beautiful in my dress. Thank you so much!!!
