I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. Instead of listening and showing empathy, the doctor was argumentative and dismissive. They insisted that I was wrong about my own symptoms and even debated with me about topics within their own field of expertise. It felt more like a confrontation than a consultation. I left feeling unheard and disrespected. I expect a medical professional to engage with patients respectfully and constructively, not to argue with them.
Dr. Is an acquired taste. When I first met her we went back and forth. She could tell early on that I was not an uneducated patient and would not just take commands. However I did listen to her. Once she saw that our arguing was brief she explained to me that she was not there to care more about me than I cared about myself and my health. I got what she was saying. This us my first visit, and the staff is pleasant, welcoming and the Dr. Awesome.
the worst stay away bad news
After my initial visit I am contemplating switching doctors. Extremely uncaring and does not know how to talk to her patients. After reviewing how poorly my numbers were, she had the nerve to ask me why am I here when I obviously don't care about my health. The nurse that works with her, Gina, was super sweet. She made me feel so welcome and the way she talked to me I thought I had finally found a place where I would enjoy coming to figure out how to take better care of myself. Dr Ishaq does not seem to have any concern for her patients..... She does not refill prescriptions even though the pharmacist places many requests and this happen repeatedly. I had an appointment with her which required and MRI. I completed all of the requirements she requested. When I showed up for my appointment, I was informed she was not in the office and had not been there in over a month. I never received a call informing me that my appointment was canceled. If there is any less stars for the review — I would rate it 0. Waste of my time she didn’t tell me anything that my general practitioner doctor didn’t tell me already. Just waiting for that bill and as a specialist I’m blown away how useless this appointment was and that I waste my time and money on this. What is she getting paid for?
The worst dr I’ve been. To .After waiting 3 months it was canceled and another spp in 2 months.Got my labs and nobody called me. Another app. For the follow up.. again canceled!...The dr is rude... no eye contact and condescending... stay away dont lose your time??
Dr. Ishaq is a wonderful doctor, she is very through and answers all my questions.
