From My experience I have been seeing Dr Mukai since I was four or five years old (i’m now 22) and he has always been patient no matter what stage of life i’ve been in. Attentively listening to all of my concerns and always actively finding the best solutions that fit any patients preference. Every appointment has been a good experience and I will continue coming back.
Dr Mukai always took the time to listen to and to answer any question that I had regarding my condition.
I too have been a patient of Dr Mukai for many, many years and would not trust my eyes to another. He is a patient listener, asks about my concerns, administers a gentle and thorough exam. When discussing my concerns and his exam, he is clear and asks if I have understood and have any further questions. I trust his judgement, and am very thankful to be a patient of his.

Dr. Mukai is THE BEST!!!! We absolutely love him. He is an exceptionally phenomenal doctor. We were so lucky and blessed to have him oversee my son's care for a rare genetic eye disease called Coat's Disease. My son has been under his care since he was in 5th grade and is now a freshman in college! He is kind, compassionate and a brilliant man! We are thankful for him!
