Hands down one of the best restaurants my wife and I have ever been to. It totally deserves making it to the Michelin guide.
In our 17 day trip around West USA, this was the best meal we had. My other half had always assumed he didn't like Sushi, but I was dying to come after all the rave reviews I'd read! We got lucky and joined the long queue outside at 16:50 and were the last two to get seats, otherwise we were looking at a 2 hour+ wait (it would've been worth it if we'd had to). The interior is well designed, the service is great and the ramen was one of the best I've had.
A Spectacular explosion of Flavors. I am a brussel sprout fan, but Shizen's are at another level - cooked to perfection with the right amount of carmelization, char and flavor. The Shizen poke A favorite yummy salad. The sushi roll, Scarlet's smile was also perfect with avocado, sweet potato and bead curd. This is my new favorite restaurant! I have no hesitation about ordering anything on the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The wait staff pleasant and very helpful!
