Shirley spent no more than 20 minutes in my home to do an appraisal. She had quoted $300 then charged $350. When asked to transfer the appraisal to another lender she was rude and again charged me an additional fee of $100 to change the name. She said do not ask for another transfer, she will not look at my file again. I'm astounded that she is still in business and that anyone would choose to use her service! Anyone looking for a residential appraisal stay far away from this crook!
If you're looking for a senile old appraiser look no further. Not sure how Shirley is still in business. Brokerages and homeowners beware! Don't expect to her to work with you or help redirect any files. We had to do another appraisal because she is "over" the file. She was not willing to accept a redirection fee.
