I'm from Louisiana and absolutely loved the quaint hotel. My room was home away from home . I needed directions to my training center then later to Harrisburg. The gentleman up front printed out the directions for me. Only complaint was the restaurant food.... However the place was packed so maybe it was my Louisiana taste buds verses the Pennsylvania taste. Can't wait for next yrs training to stay here once more

I loved this hotel, wonderful staff, clean, and the bed was so comfortable.
We stayed here one night! Very clean. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices! Yummy free continental breakfast!
A group of us came for a friends wedding. We changed our reservation a few times with no problem. The entire staff was wonderfully accommodating and friendly! They went above and beyond meeting all of our needs and helping us plan a little something extra for the bride and groom! I highly recommend The Shippen Place Hotel and will stay again if I'm ever in that area again!
Stayed for one night after dropping my son off at Shippensburg University. I had a very comfortable night's sleep and the continental breakfast was filling. My suggestions are to occasionally change the shower curtains because my shower curtain was moldy along the bottom. Also, when I locked my door card in the room, I was asked my name and immediately given another door card. I was appreciative to quickly get back into my room.
